This role within IRI's Strategic Solutions Group (SSG), responsible for business development and custom solution analysis, will support multiple strategic manufacturer accounts by partnering with the clients' retailer partners to optimize the use of their IRI Gateway solutions. This role offers a flexible location, with preferred locations in Charlotte, Bentonville or Cincinnati (will consider other locations). Role
Summary:
1. Priority Account Engagement Provide strategic, white glove support for top tier priority clients and account teams including (clients subject to change based on strategic importance) within IRI's Strategic Solutions Group (SSG) Partner with clients and SSG Account Leaders to proactively identify, structure and answer client related business questions Inform client 3 to 5-year strategic planning Address strategic retail questions Influence key client stakeholders by providing:
Proactive insights Addressing business questions HQ/Retail support and collaboration Industry thought leadership Solution training/adoption Trouble shooting issues and communicating to cross-functional teams to resolve Collaborate with peers from internal strategy team on client and retailer projects 2. Drive client satisfaction, resulting in positive net promoter scores and new business wins 3. SSG Team support Create compelling content that is easier to understand, digest and provides compelling client recommendations Leverage learnings from client interactions to modify & maintain IRI SSG selling story (client business overview) in Unify Create content that can be shared with minimal alterations across SSG clients Update & maintain repository of client presentations on SSG HUB site Other necessary support tasks 4. Special projects Conduct RFP related needs assessments Manage RFP related projects and workflows to include some administrative tasks Develop tools that streamline RFP process Create/refine tools that can be used to internally evaluate SSG client potential and assist in uncovering ad hoc or Retailer Gateway opportunities #LI-DNI Requirements:
- 5 or more years of retail or CPG experience or a high degree of passion and comfort with the retail and CPG manufacturer space. - Experience may be gained in one or more of the environments below:
- Top-tier consulting firm (i.e., Accenture) - CRM-oriented software firm (i.e. Peppers & Rodgers) - Retail (i.e., Target) - CPG manufacturer (i.e., Kraft) - Travel or hospitality (i.e., American Airlines or Starwood Resorts) - Market Research (i.e., Dunnhumby) - Strong project management skills; proven skills to maintain focus and poise amidst concurrent and competing priorities - Experience with consumer panel data or geo-demographic segmentation data is required - Strong experience or potential to foster internal and external consultative client partnerships - Expert in PowerPoint and Excel - Proven curiosity and skills to acquire, assimilate and new information with little direction - Strong applied and pragmatic mathematical/modeling skills - Proven skills summarizing or presenting complex technical subject matter for/to a non technical audience; strong and well-rounded communication skills - Ability/drive to make decisions with conviction in ambiguous and fast-moving environments; must be comfortable filling in the blanks with only 70% of the facts at-hand - Undergraduate degree is required; Advanced degree is a plus
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Marketing Research & AnalysisEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
