Outpatient Physical Therapist

A Physical Therapist is needed to work on an outpatient basis with a small community hospital in beautiful Maine.

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will work in an outpatient setting that is associated with a small acute care hospital. Though small, the hospital offers the surrounding community a vast list of cutting-edge medical services and rehabilitation services. Other services include emergency services, behavioral health, surgery and more.

The Physical Therapy Department offers one of the largest and more comprehensive programs in the area, including inpatient and outpatient Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy. This PT will be joining a large Rehabilitation Team that includes physical, occupational and speech-language therapists.

Roles and responsibilities include: 

  • Participates in the evaluation and treatment of patients, based upon current principles and practices of Physical Therapy. 

  • Functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations hospital's policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Outstanding customer service skills

  • Demonstrates baseline knowledge of relevant PT practice and flexibility

  • Emotionally mature, can objectively analyze situations, identify and problem solve, listen effectively, and present self orally and in writing

The PT will be a part of the hospital's Outpatient Rehab Department and will be responsible for implementing specific treatment techniques, educating patients and families, scheduling treatment times, and attending meetings. The ideal candidate for this role will be a team player and will have previous experience. Strong new graduates will be considered. 

The Acute Care Physical Therapist position is located on the Southern Coast of Maine in a truly gorgeous setting that offers nature lovers a plethora of settings to explore and enjoy. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
